McGriff Powers Braves to 5-3 Win
Braves first baseman Fred McGriff left his mark on his team's 5-3 win over the St. Louis 1985 Cardinals. McGriff, who is a two-time All-Star, was 3-3 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Atlanta 1995 in the contest. The triumph puts Atlanta 1995 at 26-26 for the season.

Atlanta 1995 took a 5-1 lead on McGriff's 10th double of the season. The 2-run double, which he hit off Pat Perry in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Atlanta 1995 to the win.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said McGriff.
