St. Louis 1985 Offense Jammed Up by Giants
|
The San Francisco 1989 Giants got a magnificent effort from pitcher Rick Reuschel, who kept St. Louis 1985 hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Giants win at Candlestick Park. Mike Krukow earned the save for San Francisco 1989, his 14th of the year. So far in 2025, San Francisco 1989 is 27-32.
San Francisco 1989 third baseman Matt Williams helped the Giants go up, 3-1, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Williams hit a 2-run single off St. Louis 1985 pitcher Joaquin Andujar.
"I had everything working," said Reuschel.
