The Cincinnati 1976 Reds besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Colorado 1997 first baseman Andres Galarraga by beating the Rockies, 17-12, at Coors Field. Galarraga hit 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times. Jack Billingham picked up the win in relief. Bobby Jones took the loss for Colorado 1997.
