Florida 1997 Rookie Humbles NL Hitters Thursday, May 1st , 2025 Pitcher Tony Saunders of the Florida 1997 Marlins was the premier rookie in the National League last month and today the league honored him as the Rookie of the Month award winner. In April his record was 5-0 with a 2.79 ERA and 36 strikeouts in 29 innings. This season, Saunders has worked 34 innings with 37 strikeouts en route to a 5-0 record and a 2.91 ERA. |
