Ripken Jr. Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Sunday, May 11th , 2025 Cal Ripken Jr. went 2-for-4 in the 10-2 Baltimore 1983 Orioles victory over the Chicago 1993 White Sox at Memorial Stadium. Ripken Jr. declined to speak to reporters following the game. He extended his hitting streak to 20 games. Cal Ripken Jr. hit a solo-shot off Donn Pall in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Kirk McCaskill in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. This season, Ripken Jr. has hit at a .328 clip with 40 RBIs, 14 home runs and 29 runs scored. He has played in 45 games. |
