Ripken Jr. Hit Streak Soars to 33 Games Monday, May 26th , 2025 The hot bat of Orioles shortstop Cal Ripken Jr. continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 33 games after he went 2-for-5 in today's 8-2 loss to the Red Sox at Fenway Park. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Cal Ripken Jr. struck out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. This season, Ripken Jr. is batting .347 with 20 home runs. His totals include 55 RBIs and 43 runs scored. |
