Thursday, May 29th , 2025
Derek Lowe was dynamite at Royals Stadium, blowing away the Kansas City 1977 Royals in a shutout victory. The Boston 2004 Red Sox starter had everything working as he held the Royals to 2 hits in the 11-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said Kansas City 1977 skipper Kelly Audia. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Lowe finished the game with 5 strikeouts and no walks.
In 13 starts this season, Lowe has rung up a 6-4 record and a 3.94 ERA.
