Alomar, Blue Jays Too Much for Red Sox

Roberto Alomar added some punch to the Toronto 1993 offense, helping them outmuscle the Boston 2004 Red Sox, 12-8. In the game, Alomar, who is tied for 6th in the AL in runs scored with 38, went 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2. Dave Stewart, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 3 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 1. Mark Eichhorn, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.
