The Oakland 1990 Athletics dealt the Texas 1999 Rangers a 6-5 loss at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. Jose Canseco was the star on offense. He was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs. The save went to Dennis Eckersley, number 13 for him. The victory gives Oakland 1990 a record of 31-24.
