The Texas 1999 Rangers picked up a win at Fenway Park, downing the Boston 2004 Red Sox, 6-3. On the mound for Texas 1999 was right-hander Aaron Sele, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Rangers improved their record to 21-37 with the win over Boston 2004.

Texas 1999 used a clutch at-bat from Rafael Palmeiro to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Rangers ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Palmeiro.
