Twins Lose By a Run at Toronto 1993
|
Toronto 1993 beat Minnesota 1991 at SkyDome, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to center fielder Darrin Jackson. He was 1-2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Pat Hentgen earned the win to go to 8-5. He allowed 3 runs on 9 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work. The Blue Jays now own a record of 47-37.
Early in the game, Jackson had a 3-run home run for Toronto 1993. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Blue Jays on top, 4-1.
"I was a little disappointed," said Minnesota 1991 manager Kelly Audia. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
