Milwaukee 1982 right fielder Gorman Thomas played a vital role in his team's 9-7 conquest of Philadelphia 1980. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for Milwaukee 1982. Milwaukee 1982 reliever Mike Caldwell picked up the win, upping his record to 2-4. Lerrin LaGrow took the loss. The Brewers improved their record to 18-27 with the win over Philadelphia 1980.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Brewers grabbed the lead when Thomas hit his 13th home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Lerrin LaGrow made it 9-7, Milwaukee 1982.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Thomas told the Milwaukee 1982 Daily.
