The Milwaukee 1982 Brewers knocked off the Colorado 1997 Rockies, 5-3, in National League action at County Stadium. Milwaukee 1982 pitcher and Johnstown, Pennsylvania, native Pete Vuckovich had an outstanding performance. Rollie Fingers closed the door for Milwaukee 1982, picking up his 11th save of the year.
